How can we help?
Our unwavering hope is to provide everyone with an amazing experience at Robin’s Nest. With this in mind, we have created this FAQ blog for you to refer to with any questions you may have in mind.
Your most popular FAQs:
Q: Do you have parking?
A: We do! There is a parking lot behind our building (located at 319 Woolwich St). If no spots are available, there is street parking on Woolwich St, McTague St, and Mont St.
Q: What is the clinic’s cancellation policy?
A: Our cancellation policy requires a 24 hour notice before your appointment. Any cancellation or missed visit within 24 hours of your appointment period will result in a 50% charge of the visit for the first offence, and 100% charge for any subsequent event. This is done out of respect for our practitioners.
Appointment Questions
Q: Are initial appointments longer?
A: This is dependent on the type of modality. Initial visits typically run between 1 to 1.5 hours.
Q: How long do I need to show up before my appointment?
A: You’re more than welcome to arrive as early as you would like. If you need time to fill out your paperwork at the clinic, we would suggest arriving 15 min before your appointment. If you have filled out your intake online then, you may arrive 5 minutes prior to your appointment. We have coffee, tea, and water should you want to come early and just relax with a beverage.
Q: How many visits will I need to do?
A: We take into consideration the uniqueness of each individuals health journey when creating your best health plan. Each modality is different, however it is generally recommended that 2 to 3 sessions are needed to see and feel a noticeable shift. Depending on the severity of your concern, acute or chronic, a practitioner may ask to see you in 1 to 2 week increments.
Q: Are there any forms I need to print and fill out?
A: Unless specifically asked by your practitioner, everything can be done online. No need to print any intake forms. If you are new to the clinic, trying a new modality, or seeing a new practitioner you will be promoted to fill out a new intake form. An email will be sent to you confirming the date and time of your appointment with a link directing you to fill out the outstanding intake form on your account.
Q: How do I link my family members to my profile?
A: When booking for a child/new born they will need their own profile. This can be link to your primary account by clicking on the add relationship button at the bottom of your primary account.
Q: May I bring my children to my appointment?
A: Absolutely! We understand planning and scheduling doesn’t always work out. If we can make your day a little easier, we’re here to help. We’ve started to have coinciding appointments for you and your child so you can coordinate self care for you while your child is treated at the same time.
Q: Can I be put on the waitlist? How does it work?
A: You may add yourself to the wait-list at any time.
