Jessica Smith, RCST

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist

Jessica is certified as a Biodynamic Craniosacral therapist (BCST) and is currently completing an advanced module specializing in childbirth and infants. Jessica found her way to the practice of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy through her own experience with healing.

Jessica holds an honours B.A. and a MA in political science and human rights, which gives her a strong understanding of the systems that we live in and the impact they can have on our lives. She has an intuitive understanding of “the big picture” that our healing takes place in.

Jessica has a gentle and caring touch that often leaves clients feeling like they’re relaxed, at ease, and content. She is a great listener and has honed her capacity to connect with others – guiding them on their own path of healing through her Biodynamic Craniosacral work. Jessica’s care is informed by what she has learned about healing from her own experiences of grief, trauma, and postpartum depression.

She comes to the work with a deep faith in all of our bodies’ ability to heal, and in everyone’s capacity to be more present in their bodies.

Jessica also has training in facilitation, active listening, reflexology, arts-based approaches for engaging youth, and working within LGBTQ+ communities. She is also proudly certified as a labour doula. She lives in Guelph with her partner, and her fierce and dynamic one year old daughter.
