Erin Hickling, RN,MSN

Registered Nurse, Lactition Counsellor & Infant Feeding Specialist

My Approach

I approach newborn and infant feeding with a holistic nursing lens. I use evidence-based research to guide my practice and gather information from my clients with individualized head-to-toe assessments. I empower clients to find what works for them in a judgement free space.

What to expect

  • A full intake form is sent before all visits to gather relevant medical & health history for you and your baby to ensure we get the most out of our time together during a visit.
  • An initial feeding visit includes watching your baby breast/chest feed or bottle feed. I will assess movement, latch, and positioning. Oral and breast assessments will be completed, and adjustments and suggestions made based on findings and your personal feeding goals.
  • Prenatal visits and Starting Solids classes are conducted in our beautiful clinic space with visual aids and complementary eBooks to take home.
  • Email follow-up support is always provided to ensure you are meeting your goals.
