Before becoming a physiotherapist, Monica completed a BSc in Human Kinetics at the University of Guelph in 2010. She then completed an MSc in Physiotherapy at Brunel University in London, UK. She focuses on human movement analysis and biomechanics to understand, treat, and prevent injuries by maximizing the body’s movement efficacy.
By combining her two areas of expertise of physiotherapy and kinesiology, Monica’s goal is to improve her patient’s quality of life as she has the dedication, motivation, and qualifications to provide excellent service for each of her patients to achieve their goals.
Monica has gained experience as a physiotherapist in many clinical settings treating patients with various musculoskeletal conditions. She is committed to further developing her skills and has completed post-graduate training, including acupuncture. She has a keen interest in sports injuries.
Monica enjoys training at the gym, scuba diving, and travelling outside of work. She is bilingual as she speaks English and Spanish.
