Nicole is a registered massage therapist, having graduated From Sutherland-Chan in 2007. She is quite passionate about Massage therapy, feeling truly called to work with people in this way. Nicole Has her reiki level one, and some introductory training at the cranial sacral therapy center in Toronto. She has experience treating a wide range of conditions with massage as well as the effects of the common condition being, in a prolonged state of ‘fight or flight’ otherwise known as ‘stressed out!’
Nicole has explored mental health, anxiety, depression, PTSD and trauma and their translation into the body in courses/workshops and in continual personal study. A particular passion and excited interest also lies in pregnancy and the way it shapes a woman’s body and life as a whole. Because of this Nicole has considerable experience working with clients pre and post pregnancy, providing support for the changing bodies and excited hearts of these women and their families in a safe, quiet space where they can rest comfortably without interruption. The presence of a knowledgeable, non-judgmental, well trained body worker can relieve discomfort on a physical level as well as provide steady, calm support throughout the healing process. Our lives are often rushed, strained, pushed and pulled, uncomfortable and uncertain. Nicole aims to provide a space people can be themselves, heal, rest, stretch and unwind, within a standard massage treatment. It is all connected.
