Tania is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and has a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Guelph in Molecular Biology and Genetics. She has always been fascinated about how the human body works.
She became interested in the biology of breastfeeding after the birth of her first son in 2001. Since then Tania has studied human lactation extensively. Tania started her breastfeeding education through volunteering with a local mother-to-mother volunteer breastfeeding organization (LLLC), from 2008-2015. Her volunteer work led her on a path which brought her to training to become an IBCLC in 2010.
An IBCLC is a healthcare professional who specializes in the clinical management of breastfeeding. An IBCLC is the only health care professional who is board certified in lactation management.
