What to expect

Bio

Julie Mason offers mental health counselling in Guelph through a trauma-informed and compassionate approach. With over 10 years of experience in both community and healthcare settings, she helps clients feel safe, seen, and supported. Her counselling practice blends Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and expressive arts. This unique mix allows for self-reflection, emotional expression, and the development of healthy coping strategies.

Julie understands that life’s challenges, like stress, burnout, anxiety, medical trauma, or identity struggles, can leave you feeling overwhelmed and disconnected. These experiences often show up in both the mind and the body. However, with the right support, healing becomes possible. Through collaborative sessions, Julie guides clients to reconnect with their values and gain clarity on what truly matters.

In addition to talk therapy, she offers tools and creative strategies that support long-term change. Whether you’re seeking relief from emotional exhaustion, wanting to better understand your identity, or hoping to improve how you cope day to day, Julie can help. Her work focuses on building trust and safety so you can explore freely and heal deeply.

If you’re looking for mental health counselling in Guelph that centres your lived experience and values, Julie Mason is here to help. At Robin’s Nest Family Care, we believe that everyone deserves access to meaningful, personalized mental health support. Take the first step and book a discovery call today.
