Osteopathic Manual Practitioner

My Approach

  • With a deep respect for the body’s natural ability to self-heal & self-regulate when it’s given the right support, my approach is hands-on, gentle, and collaborative. I work with your body, not against it.
  • I take the time to listen to your story, understand how your symptoms fit into your life, and tailor each treatment to what you need that day. My goal is to help you move more freely and feel more at home in your body.

What to expect

  • A thorough intake and discussion of your health history and goals
  • A whole-body assessment of how your structure, movement, and function interact to contribute to asymmetry and dysfunction (fully clothed, comfortably on a treatment table)
  • Treatment should feel safe, grounded, and empowering. Not rushed or one-size-fits-all, with clear, supportive communication

    Bio

Sam first arrived in Guelph as an undergraduate student, where she completed her Honours Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science at the University of Guelph. While searching for her ideal career, Sam then pursued a Master of Science in Neuroscience at the University of Calgary and a Master of Science in Clinical Neuroscience at the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph. She realized her passion for becoming a clinician after positive experiences during her athletic pursuits as a collegiate-level rower. She became particularly interested in using manual therapy to balance the body, enabling it to self-heal and self-regulate, which led her to pursue her Master of Osteopathic Manual Science (M.OMSc) at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy in Hamilton.

Sam’s passion for integrating manual therapy, movement, and wellness gives her a unique skillset to help clients of all ages and abilities feel their absolute best. She enjoys staying active and outdoors, always adventuring with her family, friends, and two pups.
